The property has been operating as Sure Shine Car Wash since 2015. Mint Eco has closed Sure Shine Car Wash temporarily and is in the process of an extensive site renovation and rebranding that is anticipated to be completed in 2023.

WEST PALM BEACH, Florida, June 1, 2022 — Geoffrey Jervis, CEO and Co-founder of Mint Eco Car Wash, was named the 2022 Small Business Person of the Year Award winner last week by the Chamber of the Palm Beaches during their Business Awards breakfast. The annual award honors an individual who is a business leader that exhibits dedicated involvement to the community. Geoff was selected as one of four finalists, from over 80 nominations.

In celebration of National Police Week, Mint Eco Car Wash has announced that they will be offering free car washes for police vehicles as a permanent part of Mint Eco’s community outreach initiative. To date, Mint Eco has washed over 500 police cars across many police departments in the county, including the West Palm Beach Police Department, the Palm Beach Police Department, the Jupiter Police Department, and the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office.

Mint Eco Car Wash received the prestigious Patriot Award this month from the Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR). To receive this award, Mint Eco had to be nominated by an employee serving in the National Guard or Reserve. The Patriot Award “reflects the efforts made to support citizen warriors through a wide range of measures including flexible schedules, time off prior to and after deployment, caring for families, and granting leaves of absence if needed.”

An innovative approach to car washes has provided jobs for PBA students and directly benefited a student-led nonprofit’s mission to alleviate homelessness in Palm Beach County.

Geoffrey Jervis, PBA management instructor and CEO of Mint Eco, dreamed of making the “Chick-Fil-A of car washes.” Since launching his car wash business in 2019, he has hired five PBA alumni, created a student internship program and hired homeless people looking for meaningful work.

The years Geoffrey Jervis spent on Wall Street never dulled his desire to work for himself. A former CFO at NYSE-listed companies, he found his calling in the car wash business, and brought in investors to help him scale.

Mint Eco Car Wash closed on a $50 million capital raise that will fuel a $150 million investment to acquire and develop a portfolio of 50 car washes across Palm Beach County by 2030. Founded in 2019, the chain has one location in West Palm Beach and two in Jupiter with nearly 100 total employees.

Mint Eco Car Wash has raised $50 million in equity as it launches a $150 million expansion spree in Palm Beach County, the firm announced Thursday.

The privately held company, based in West Palm Beach, has three locations now, with six more under development. Mint Eco aims to expand its roster to 20 car washes in Palm Beach County by the end of 2024, and to 50 locations by 2030.
